I bought this manual, because it was supposed to be a replica of the online manual. However, there is NO COLOUR in this book. Pure black and white. This does not help me with examples at all.
I just got it today and was thumbing through the book. It looks like it covers a lot of ground well, but the whole thing is in black and white, not the color version I saw on Amazon's Look Inside pages. Thanks Prentice Hall, for not spending the extra $0.50 to print this in color. Geez.
A little hard to follow, but a good how to manual for a rather difficult program.
This book is useful for anyone beginning to navigate Inkscape. Includes useful examples and comments, with some good initial tutorial examples. Very detailed and helpful.
It's a good full description of the product, with an excellent Index. The index and cross-references are helpful. Some of the tips are redundant, but better safe than sorry!
This is a very useful tool in figureing out how to use inkscape. A complicated graphic program made easy to understand with this book.
Excellent instruction manual. It has shaved many days off learning the program.
Easy to understand and indexed well. FYI, book is in black & white, the supplemental color images are online.
