I absolutely LOVE this NIV Study Bible in Large Print. I love the red letter edition. It arrived within a week. I am confused as to why I did not get indexed pages... but that sure isn't a deal-breaker. This Bible is SO FULL of exciting stuff that I did not put it down for hours after I opened it! There is the 200 page Concordance, the numerous beautiful color maps, and dozens and dozens of color charts/graphs showing all kinds of information that you could ever possibly want to know (i.e. all the Parables of Jesus and which authors wrote about which ones or all the Miracles of Jesus and which of the Gospels to find those, etc). The layout of the text is as follows: scripture on the upper half of the page (in the standard double column format) with the study notes on the lower half. The bonded leather cover is nice, and I do not find the thin pages to be a problem as others have suggested since I am not used to having a previous Bible with heavier weight paper. The size of the Bible is not too huge for me either as was also suggested by some... It is 10.75"x7.5"x2" and weighs over 5 pounds and I do actually take it to Bible study with me. The only problem (and it would never keep me from purchasing this Bible...) is the lack of Bible covers available in size xxl to go with this. I only found about 5 to choose from; none of which were the least bit feminine. I went with the Wordkeeper as it is a perfect fit (no swimming around). All in all though.... VERY pleased with this purchase!!!

Love my new WORD!! I wear glasses and the the regural print was becoming difficult so I decided to purchase a large print. This came in 2 days as promised. The print size is perfectly large! Maps, study notes, concordance Index all large print.

After 15 years of teaching in our local church, and 12 years directing our Prison Ministry Program; I am truly astounded with your fusion of the NIV Life Application Bible and current archeology. I have a very solid foundation in archeology and regional anthropology of the Levant during an extensive period of time prior to the Roman occupation through Josephus at Masada. The NIV Study Bible illustrations are in exquisite color with photos from ongoing research site. The use of the "Roman Forum" in the "Book of Romans" where Paul physically stood and spoke. The NIV Study Bible collection of maps is unparalleled with color graphics providing nation's in their Biblical names highlighted, and combined with overlays of commentary. I have already ordered several NIV Study Bibles, with one specially for my Son. When it arrived, my Step-Grandson in his late-20's flipped through it telling his Dad..."that he (Dad) was not getting it back, this is the first Bible he had ever found interesting and fun to read". I was floored and have ordered and send our three more. I am reading it each evening to a another Vet who is dying and slowly coming to know Christ over the phone two states away - we served 3 years together on a ship. We read together with his copy in hand, and his questions are answered by the commentary or by me. Thank you Zondervan and your research staff who prepared this incredible edition. God Bless your incredible achievement.

In my return to the faith, I needed a good Bible to help me grow. I've only had the Bible for three days, but felt compelled to write my first review on Amazon. There are several pages before each book of the Bible that explains the upcoming book and gives you a real understanding of the what, where, why and how. The maps and different pictures of artifacts allow you to finally understand locations and things from before our time. This has great material below the scripture, which helps give context to what is written. As others have said, this is not light, so don't plan to haul it around on a regular basis. This is the most money I have ever spent on any book, but well worth every penny. Buy and enjoy!

Especially strong in historical information. Excellent study bible. Would note does not have the life lessons of the life applications study bible. If you want a study bible with straight forward, well documented text this bible will meet your needs.

This bible is HUGE. But it's so amazing. Thanks to Elohim for giving us such a precious tool to learn the word of God for the salvation of or souls. Studying about Daniel Prophecy and the Seven Feasts in Three Times are so in depth with the visuals, charts, and world history all in one resource. 👍🏽

This Bible was recommended and now I know why. Larger print and contains reference material at the bottom of each page. A little on the heavy side, but would purchase again.

This was a wonderful surprise birthday gift my darling wife gave me, I LOVE the Holy Bible but traditional Bibles, in their original form, can be difficult to casually read and reflect upon and this NIV Bible is great and treasured. My wife knows I love Leather Bound books for durability and classic reading feel.

Super Duper! This one is part of the older version which uses REAL instruments. The new ones have that jingle bells computer doorbell accompaniment, So Awful. I know real musicians cost money but it is so important that kids get to hear real instruments, real singers without auto-tune and chipped drum beats. They get enough of that from the Youtube that their parents let them watch. Bring Back Real, Authentic Elemental Music.

This cd was put together very well. I was very impressed with the recordings and the presentation. If you want to take a musical trip around the world this is a great way to go. The singer's introduce themselves in their native language and sing in their native language. Then the song is sung again by American children with the translation. Shirley from Switzerland with her beautiful yodeling is worth it alone but there are beautiful songs from the West Inies and Africa, as well as Europe and Asia. Highly recommended!

This CD and accompanying booklet are very fun and educational . We are learning about "around the world" in our homeschool and we have enjoyed listening to the different languages and styles in the songs. It's fun that there are songs from each continent!

Love this cd. Definitely worth the purchase to learn different songs. We use this with our geography homeschool curriculum.

Purchased this CD almost 20 years ago for my grandchildren. I just bought 5 more to share with family and friends with small grandchildren and for my daughter who teaches 5th graders. Great activities and songs for children of all ages.

I loved all of the wee sing sets as a kid, but this was my favorite. When I found out that it was available on CD, I snapped it up! Fun children's songs from around the world in both English and their native languages. You won't be able to resist singing along! Includes lullabies as well as timeless children's songs.

Great activity book, though the inside cover page in one of the two books we ordered was torn. Quality control at Amazon Fulfillment could be better, so we're only giving it four stars for this damage alone. We were disappointed and hate to see our child disappointed too. (We didn't have time to go through an exchange before Purim and decided just to keep it. There is no way I know of to report this without returning it either.)This book though is nice in that it has very easy activities as well as more advanced activities, so it can be kept and used for a few years as a child grows and matures or shared between siblings. It is very well thought out, educational, and fun. Some of the activities were much more challenging than others, and even took me a moment to solve. ;-) It's always a delight when education and fun are combined!

A fun book for children as well as for the parents. This book is an excellent way for children to learn about the history of the Jewish people and the story of Purim. This activity book for for Purim will keep children occupied for many hours. It is both fun and interesting.
